GRAVUN COOKIE NOTICE
Effective
Date: September
19, 2026
This Cookie Notice explains how Gravun Inc. (“Gravun,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on gravun.com, app.gravun.com, and customer-facing pages operated through the Gravun platform.
Read this Notice with our Privacy Policy at [Insert link], which explains our handling of personal information, disclosures to providers, international processing, and privacy rights.
1. Technologies Covered
1.1 Cookies. Cookies are small files that a website places on your browser or device. They can support functions such as maintaining a session or remembering a choice.
1.2 Similar Storage. Browser technologies such as local storage and session storage can retain information without using a traditional cookie. References to cookie choices in this Notice include those technologies where the relevant control applies.
1.3 Other Technical Records. Servers, error-monitoring tools, and communication providers may generate technical records without placing a cookie. Blocking cookies does not necessarily stop those activities.
1.4 First-Party and Third-Party Technologies. Some technologies are set through Gravun’s domains. Others may be supplied by providers supporting a feature you use. The domain or provider name alone does not establish the purpose or privacy effect of a technology.
2. Where Technologies Are Used
2.1 Marketing Website. The public website at gravun.com has its own hosting and configuration. Its specific technologies are identified in the register in Section 8.
2.2 Application. The application at app.gravun.com uses technologies supporting authentication, sessions, security, and preferences. The application does not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
2.3 Customer-Facing Pages. Booking, estimate, invoice, payment, and signing pages may use technologies needed to display the requested transaction, maintain its session, or protect access.
2.4 External Services. If you follow a link to another website or use a provider’s separately operated service, its own notices and controls may also apply. Our use of an embedded provider is described in the register where relevant.
3. Purposes and Categories
3.1 Necessary Functions. These technologies support functions needed to provide the service you request, such as authentication, session continuity, security, and retaining privacy choices.
They are not used for unrelated advertising merely because they are categorized as necessary. Browser controls may block them, but affected functions may then be unavailable.
3.2 Optional Preferences. Where deployed, optional preference technologies remember choices that are convenient but not required for the requested service. Their specific purposes and controls appear in Section 8.
3.3 Optional Measurement. Where deployed, measurement technologies help us understand visits, navigation, or feature use. Their providers, information, and purposes must be identified in the register. A technology is not treated as necessary solely because measurement is useful to Gravun.
3.4 Diagnostics and Security. Error and security records help identify faults, investigate misuse, and maintain reliability. The register distinguishes browser storage from diagnostic processing that occurs without cookies. Optional diagnostic functions are subject to the applicable choices.
3.5 Advertising. Any advertising or cross-site tracking technology must be specifically identified before use, together with the applicable choices. A description of this category does not mean that such technologies are deployed across all Gravun pages.
4. Your Choices
4.1 Optional Technologies. Under Gravun’s consent configuration, optional browser technologies are disabled until you make the relevant affirmative choice. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent use of functions that do not require them.
4.2 Settings. Where optional technologies are deployed, you can select “Cookie settings” at 10 Four Seasons Place , Etobicoke, Ontario, M9B0A6, Canada, to accept, reject, or change your choices.
4.3 No Consent by Browsing. Continuing to browse, scrolling, or closing a notice is not treated as consent to optional technologies.
4.4 Withdrawal. Changing a setting to “off” stops future optional activity controlled by that setting. We will remove associated storage where it is within our control and technically possible. The change does not automatically erase information already lawfully collected; privacy requests may be submitted under the Privacy Policy.
4.5 Browser Settings. You can also manage cookies and site data through your browser. Clearing site data may sign you out and remove saved preferences, including your privacy selections.
4.6 Devices and Domains. Choices may be specific to the browser, device, or site on which you make them. Where a choice is applied across Gravun domains or associated with an account, the settings interface will explain that scope.
4.7 Required Functions. Rejecting optional technologies does not disable necessary authentication or security functions. If a requested optional feature requires a provider connection, we will explain that connection before activation.
5. Browser Privacy Signals
5.1 Recognized Signals. Where applicable law requires a qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signal to be honoured, we will apply it to the processing and information covered by that requirement.
5.2 Scope. A signal may apply to a particular browser or device and, where required and reasonably associated, an account. It does not necessarily control every processing activity described in our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Separate Choices. A general cookie selection must not silently override a legally recognized opt-out signal. Any permitted change to that preference must follow the applicable requirements.
6. Messages, Links, and Notifications
6.1 Communication Events. Emails, text messages, and links may generate delivery, opening, or click records where supported by the relevant provider and feature. These activities do not necessarily use website cookies.
6.2 Customer Communications. A business using Gravun may receive information about interactions with its communications. Its own notices and communication choices also apply.
6.3 Separate Controls. Rejecting website cookies does not automatically unsubscribe you from messages or disable all communication tracking. Use the relevant unsubscribe method, communication preferences, or privacy-request process.
6.4 Push Notifications. Browser notifications require the applicable browser permission. You may revoke that permission through browser or device settings. A cookie choice does not itself grant permission for push notifications.
7. Storage Duration and Personal Information
7.1 Duration. Session-based technologies generally expire when the relevant session ends. Persistent technologies remain until their configured expiry or earlier deletion. Some local-storage entries have no automatic expiry and require a specified removal process.
7.2 Separate Retention. Browser-storage duration is different from the period for which a provider or Gravun retains information collected through it. The Privacy Policy explains the criteria governing that retention.
7.3 Information Involved. Depending on the technology, information may include session identifiers, preferences, IP addresses, browser details, timestamps, and interaction events. Identifiers may constitute personal information even where they do not contain your name.
7.4 Providers and Locations. Providers may process relevant information outside your province, state, or country as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable provider disclosures.
8. Technology Register
The register identifies the technologies deployed on each relevant Gravun surface. It must be completed and updated from the actual configuration.
